The final directive for the German invasion of Norway and Denmark is secretly issued in Berlin.
British women are urged to wear lighter-coloured clothes in order to save darker dyes for forces uniforms. Of the 16 million who hear the BBC nine o’clock news every night around 6 million switch straight over to Lord Haw-Haw afterwards.
Whether they believe his propaganda is another question.
