Soviet forces, now moving inexorably forward, capture Repola, northeast of Viipuri, plus Karppila and Ruhela on the north shore of Viipuri Bay. 

Field Marshal Mannerheim, in charge of Finnish forces, urges the government to make terms with the USSR.
